THE Queen looked majestic in blue today as she attended a service of thanksgiving to mark 100 years of the Royal British Legion.

The event highlights the charity’s work to support servicemen and women from UK and Commonwealth countries.
The royals joined a congregation which included serving members of the armed forces, veterans, and their families.
Princess Anne donned a purple coat and black gloves for the event.
The Queen, using a walking stick as she stepped out of her car, wore a striking – and very apt – royal blue coat with gold buttons.
She carried a small black handbag and accessorised her look with pearl earrings, a necklace and a stunning sapphire brooch that originally belonged to Queen Mary.
The monarch has been pictured with a walking stick before, including in 2003 following an operation to remove torn cartilage from her right knee.
